These Terms govern your use of National Vin Report (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
National Vin Report provides a free instant VIN decode preview and paid full vehicle history reports covering title, accident, odometer, and recall information for cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and boats. Data is sourced from NMVTIS, NHTSA, and licensed third-party vehicle history providers.
Reports are compiled from third-party sources and are provided "as is." Coverage depends on what individual states, insurers, and repair shops choose to report. We do not guarantee a report reflects 100% of a vehicle's history, and no report should be treated as a substitute for an independent physical inspection before purchase.
Full reports are paid purchases processed via Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout. By purchasing a report, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method. See our Refund Policy for details on when refunds apply.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
The Service's design, branding, and report formatting are owned by National Vin Report. Underlying vehicle history data belongs to the respective data providers (NMVTIS, NHTSA, and partner sources) and is licensed to us for report generation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, National Vin Report is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of a report, including purchase decisions made based on report data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account found violating these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
